Elevate Denver

Elevate Denver is a six month nonprofit leadership program tailored specifically for young professionals.



YNPN Denver, due to CDC recommendations and local requirements, we are cancelling or postponing in-person programming through May 2020.     Leveraging the Strategic Planning Process

    Nonprofit professionals often feel dependent upon the strategies and goals developed by others. They may not understand how their position fits into the larger picture or if they are making an impact. This can lead to frustration and anxiety. The truth is that professionals at any level can benefit from the strategic planning process undertaken by the organization. If the individual actively engages in the process, it could launch their career to new heights. 

    In this session, we review the basics of organizational strategic planning and how an individual can participate in the process to help define expectations and set personal goals for their own advancement while making a positive impact on the organization they serve.

    This session will take place online. A zoom link will be sent closer to the event date.

    Elizabeth Higgins is the CEO of Good Focus, providing elevated bookkeeping, budgeting, and strategic planning services to nonprofit organizations.  She worked for over ten years in the nonprofit and government sectors in both management and direct service roles.
