Executive Vice-Chair

Sam Aghbashian is the Chief Membership Officer at Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO). He is a lifetime Coloradoan and graduated from the University of Denver with undergraduate degrees in Gender and Women’s Studies His course of study led him to work in examining and promoting civic engagement of intersections of gender and categories of difference, as well as the systematic oppression of women and minorities. In 2015 he joined GSCO, a nonpartisan, inclusive organization, where he supports teams across the state to create meaningful member experiences. He is passionate about responsible data governance to guarantee data-driven operations; lifelong learning and continued professional development; and leveraging technologies to eliminate barriers to volunteerism. The impact Girl Scouts have on their communities inspired Sam to share his values and skills by connecting with YNPN Denver, where he currently serves as YNPN Denver’s Membership Committee Co-Chair.

Lauren Archuletta is the Manager of Special Events and Stewardship for Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. As a Colorado native, Lauren graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's of Science in journalism and a Bachelor's of Arts in Spanish. In her free time, Lauren works as a freelance writer for Denver Westword, and is very passionate about local fitness, serving as an Ambassador for Fitlo Denver. She currently serves on YNPN Denver's Fund Development Committee.

Shelby Clymer is a Manager at CliftonLarsonAllen working in their Outsourcing group.  She works primarily with nonprofits providing outsourced accounting & finance services and consulting.  Shelby graduated from Creighton University with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance.  She is passionate about helping nonprofit organizations by taking off the weight of their financial responsibilities.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling with family and friends and exploring the local music scene.

Aine is Director of Digital Strategies at Nonprofit Quarterly, a sector magazine reporting on issues affecting nonprofits and philanthropy. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with an undergraduate degree in architecture. Aine discovered her passion for the nonprofit sector when she was accepted into Americorps National Civilian Community Corps following college and spent two years in AmeriCorps programs serving with a handful of diverse organizations across the nation. Aine also serves as Co-Chair of the Marketing and Membership Committee. In her spare time Aine enjoys attending music festivals, yoga, traveling, and getting out to hike the beautiful natural environment Colorado has to offer.

Executive Co-Chair

Katie Edwards is the Associate Director for The Nonprofit Centers Network, an international peer-learning community for nonprofits that share space with one another.  Katie has a passion for building the capacity of the nonprofit sector, especially among small, rural organizations, since her first nonprofit jobs in Western Kansas. This desire led Katie to pursue an MPA in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University – Indianapolis. When she’s not out saving the world (like all young nonprofiteers), Katie can be found enjoying Denver’s slam poetry scene, on the pitch with the Denver Gaels, or grubbing around in the garden.

Juliana Fajardo is the Development Coordinator for Museo de las Americas. Juliana is a California native and she moved to Denver to finish her MPA degree. She graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Master of Public Administration and a dual concentration in Nonprofit Organizations and Environmental Policy, Management, and Law. She has a B.S. in Statistics with minors in Environmental Studies and Dance from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. On her free time, she enjoys dancing, running, practicing yoga, and experiencing the natural beauty Colorado has to offer. Juliana joins the YNPN Denver Board of Directors with a background in fundraising and development, through interning, volunteering, and serving on committees, including a year on the YNPN Denver Fund Development Committee.


Asha Holsopple

Board Member at Large

Asha Holsopple is the Assistant Director of Development for the Anti-Defamation League's regional office in Denver. Prior to joining the wonderful crew in ADL's Mountain States Region, Asha spent a number of years working at Tu Casa, Inc., a domestic violence shelter/rape crisis center in the San Luis Valley. Most recently, Asha worked for the state of Colorado helping to administer grant funds for crime victim services across Colorado. Before relocating to Colroado in 2011, Asha earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA. In her free time, Asha enjoys riding with her cycling team, Team Stay Phat; reading; and playing with her dog, Samson.


Raven Newberry

Board Member at Large

Raven Newberry is a program manager at the National Endowment for Financial Education in downtown Denver. She became involved with YNPN Denver after completing their year-long leadership program, Elevate Denver. Since then, she has co-chaired the Elevate Committee and currently serves as a board member. An AmeriCorps alumni, her professional passion is educational access and support. She has a Masters of Public Policy from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in Geography from the University of Kentucky. This southeastern transplant is a fitness class junkie who tries to spend most weekends outdoors exploring the beauty of Colorado. She lives in Boulder with her husband and their two very spoiled cats, Stanley and Arthur.

Brittany Pyle is the Executive Assistant at American Heart and American Stroke Association. She graduated Metro State University with a BS in Human Services and Nonprofit Administration. A Colorado Native, she enjoys camping and roaming around in the mountains, especially around Kenosha and Guanella Pass.  The rest of her time goes to National Parks, museums or her family! Brittany has been involved in many YNPN activities over the last 5 years, including being a member of the inaugural Elevate Denver leadership program.

Gene Ramierz is the Court Specialist for Child Support Services (State of Colorado).  Born and raised in Colorado, Gene graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.  He has also been involved in CrossFit for the past six years including three years as a coach.  Outside of work and repeatedly lifting and putting down heavy things he also enjoys time in the kitchen preparing for his inevitable appearance on Chopped... or Worst Cooks in America, one of the two for sure.



Katie Singleton

Board Member at Large

Katie Singleton is the Girl Experience Manager for the Girl Scouts of Colorado. Katie is currently working towards her Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit organizations at the University of Colorado Denver. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Women's Studies. Katie completed YNPN Denver's Elevate Denver program in 2017 and now serves as one of the co-chairs for the program.
