Ashley GuesmanProject Director & Executive Co-Chair Ashley Guesman is the Gift Processing and Donor Relations Coordinator at Denver Botanic Gardens. In May 2019, Ashley earned a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Organizations from University of Colorado Denver. Ashley has a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, where she studied art history, French, and writing. Within the nonprofit sector, Ashley is dedicated to expanding on and improving access for all to cultural and scientific organizations. Striving for greater levels of civic engagement and community participation are also in the forefront of Ashley's mind when developing policies and procedures within the nonprofit space. Ashley enjoys yoga, collecting vintage clothing and housewares, eating sushi, and spending time with her cats, Eloise and Alaistair. |
Isamar TelloCo-Chair Isamar Tello is the Investigations Lead with the Division of Labor Standards and Statistics working to investigate and adjudicate claims for earned wages not paid. She graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Master of Public Administration and dual B.A degrees in International Marketing and Media and Spanish Language and Literature from Texas A&M University. Isamar is passionate about creating and supporting collaborations between government and nonprofit organizations in order to best serve the community. Isamar is also dedicated in helping the Spanish speaking community. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, attending culture events around Denver, seeing live shows, cooking/baking, and traveling to new countries. |

Tamara Berkman Board Member at Large Tamara Berkman is a Denver native whose passions include community engagement, art, and health. Tamara works for Goodwill of Colorado as a Job Developer helping needy families prepare for the workforce. Prior to Goodwill, Tamara held roles in communications and programming at a fortune 500 company and a tiny religious organization. Tamara graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado in 2010 with a degree in Communication In her spare time, you are most likely to find Tamara working on a craft project with her dog cuddled up beside her. Tamara very much enjoys exploring Denver with her friends and cheering on sports teams with her family. Tamara’s goals involve tuning into her passions to create a well-rounded life where she can have a fulfilling career, a healthy lifestyle, strong relationships and make a difference in her community.
