YNPN Denver develops activities and programming to meet the needs of our members, with a focus on providing networking and professional development opportunities.  Our major programs include:

Membership:  Membership with YNPN Denver is free and provides access to all features of the YNPN website, access to the YNPN listserv, many free YNPN activities, and opportunities to build you career and professional network.  To become a member, please click here.

Learning Circles: Each year, YNPN Denver offers a series of six- to eight-week facilitated sessions on topics of interest to our membership.  Participating in a Learning Circle provides members with an opportunity to learn key skills related to nonprofit management and leadership in a setting that promotes relationship building and networking.  Some recent Learning Circles topics have included leadership development, conflict resolution, fundraising, and personal balance.  Click here to learn more about Learning Circles.

Networking Events:  YNPN Denver hosts networking events for members approximately one time per month.  Some events include a professional development component, while others offer opportunities for networking and relationship building with nonprofit peers.  YNPN's networking events are the point-of-entry for most of our members.  Check out the YNPN calendar for upcoming events.

Advocacy and promoting YNPN Denver's mission:  YNPN Denver members have been active in promoting our mission by representing the organization on the Colorado Nonprofit Association's Programming Committee, the Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships Commission, at the Nonprofit Congress, and through other forums and groups.  YNPN Denver also works to have young nonprofit professionals represented at important nonprofit sector events, including the annual Colorado Nonprofit Association Fall Conference.  To learn more about YNPN's advocacy activities, click here.

Beer and Ballots:  One of YNPN Denver's most popular programs, Beer and Ballots, is an election forum that provides information about candidates and ballot initiatives relevant to the nonprofit sector.  The next Beer and Ballots event will be held in October 2010.
